London ♥

Hello internet!

Tomorrow is the day! We’re finally going to London! It’s like a dream come true: breathing that famous London-air, seeing those breathtaking views, eating the original fish and chips, walking through streets with a rich history and shopping in the infinite Camden-Lock markets. But, above all, seeing the amazing pieces of art that are hidden all around the city: street art. It’s the work of people that dare to come up for the problems in our society by creating real masterpieces.

Well, I really hope so. My mother actually seems to hate everything about it. She evades the question and makes excuses for everything we suggest. But we have it all planned out, we even reserved the tickets for a street art tour. So I think that, at the end, she won’t have another option than going with us.

For the rest we didn’t plan a lot, we have our tickets for the Eurostar and we are staying in this cozy hotel just outside the center of London. We’re definitely going to visit the London Eye, the Big Ben and all those other must-see attractions. But I also want to see the ‘London that the biggest part of the tourists never see’, those hidden pearls of places that aren’t crowded with people. You know what I mean, don’t you? That’s the reason why I want to do a street art tour. It will show us such places, so we can see the ‘real’ London. I think it will be surprisingly amazing. I really look forward to it, but I have very high expectations, so I hope I won’t get disappointed.

The train leaves tomorrow at nine o’clock and we will arrive there at midday. I’m stressed like a chicken without a head, all the suitcases still have to be packed and it’s yet 9 p.m., so I think I won’t sleep well tonight…

Wish me luck!
